"This year, the Wellbeing Hub has been instrumental to my professional and personal development. It has provided opportunities to learn, build networks, and engage in activities that would have been challenging to find elsewhere. The hub offers space and structure to support a wide range of people. In my case, it has allowed me to develop three completely different aspects of my life, making me a better person and professional."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing hub. Throughout my time, I have experienced many new things such as attending a Public health harmful drinking module seminar, attending community workshops, viewing the campus simulation suite, assisted living lab and immersive room and anatomage virtual table, completing admin work, job shadowing and having meetings with unique professional individuals. I would recommend this placement to people interested in Health and social care and other caring professions. As a Psychology student, I found meeting with Mental Health counsellors most interesting such as a meeting with the Youth concern Head of counselling. I have found it inspiring to see the work that happens in the Hub as it is a space that helps many people in a variety of ways."

"Claire, the manager of Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing Hub, is a dedicated, hardworking and cheerful person to be around. With a strong, admirable work ethic, she continuously embodies the selfless values and mission of the hub in every aspect of her work and welcomes everyone in with a welcoming friendly smile. Shes crafted a more than pleasant work environment that has welcomed and allowed an array of individuals and organisations to immerse themselves within work in a stress-free and encouraging environment.
As a mentor, Claire is welcoming, supportive, respectful and friendly – encouraging me to produce my best work whilst providing a surplus of opportunities to learn and attain valuable skills.
The Hub itself is a calming, productive and lively space to be in, it supports, sustains and provides an opportunity for individuals, volunteers and organisations to develop skills, have a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for both personal and community work to be executed and connects a plethora of people across Buckinghamshire with similar aims, goals, objectives and selfless responsibilities."
